KenzFigee announced to have been awarded a contract for the refurbishment of a Ram Luffing crane on board Dana Petroleum’s FPSO ‘Triton’, for which the engineering activities already started by a team of KenzFigee service engineers.

The refurbishment will be executed on the starboard 27 tons SWL Kenz-built Ram Luffing crane on board the FPSO ‘Triton’, owned and operated by Dana Petroleum. KenzFigee will be executing the work on board of the ‘Triton’, which vessel is located in block 21/30 approximately 120 miles (190 km) east of Aberdeen, and produces oil and gas from the Bittern, Clapham, Pict, Saxon, Guillemot West and North West fields.

In 1998 KenzFigee delivered and installed two 27 tons Ram Luffing cranes on board of the FPSO and the cranes have been operational in the harsh North Sea environment since then.

The service activities to be executed by KenzFigee comprise among others: delivery and installation of new slew bearing, gearboxes, crane cabin, control system and replacement of all hydraulics and electrical system. Furthermore, to change out parts KenzFigee will design, deliver and install all necessary support and installation structures.
