Global Wind Service on Wieringermeer Extension

Global Wind Service announced that Nordex Group has chosen Global Wind Service (GWS) as one of their installation partners for the installation of Wieringermeer extension in Holland. The extension will add another 32 N117/3600 turbines to the 50 turbines already being installed. Work has already commenced at site where GWS is installing half of the 32 turbines.

Wieringermeer wind farm is located approx. 60 km north of Amsterdam in the province North Holland, in the Polder Wieringermeer. Once completed, the wind farm comprising 82 wind turbines have an installed capacity of approx. 300 MW.

Global wind Service has been present in Holland since 2009 where the local Dutch office opened. The office represents the Benelux area, and has most Global Wind Service departments represented; project management, finance, legal, HSEQ, sales and warehouse.
