Ørsted Starts Installations U.S. Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW)

Ørsted completed the installation of the first turbine foundations for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) in U.S. federal waters, creating a monumental day for the U.S. offshore wind industry

Thomas Brostrøm, President at Ørsted North America, said: “Our team and suppliers have worked tirelessly in unprecedented circumstances to complete this project on behalf of our partner Dominion Energy.

Jan De Nul contributes to this success by using its offshore jack-up installation vessel Vole au vent to install the components.
