IQIP announces it is awarded for installing 16 FPSO anchor piles with an outer diameter of 3500mm using a newly produced 144 inch Fast Frame. This is the largest FastFrame in our portfolio for subsea piling operations as it will be able to install piles with an outer diameter of up to 144 inches.

The production of the 144″ Fast Frame was challenging due to the required very short lead time and we are therefore very proud of the great result. The order is for an LNG project offshore North-West of Africa on 120 m water depth. The 144″ Fast Frame can compensate up to 4° seabed slope by using its integrated leveling system and will maintain the orientation of the pile until adequate soil holding is achieved and will open to let the S-800 Hydrohammer through to pile until final penetration.

Also nice to mention is that IQIP has two Slotted Frames 1 x 96” and 1 x 72 (just finished) and a 60” diameter Fast Frame on different subsea projects. Want to know more about this? Email us at [email protected] and talk to our experts today!
