Neoenergia achieved one more milestone, as five group’s hydro power plants, HPP Baguari, HPP Corumbá, HPP Dardanelos, HPP Itapebi and HPP Teles Pires received certifications under ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Safety and Health Management System. The process to implement those standards in each plant was started in 2017 and took around one year. All plants were subject to the required audits.

HPP Itapebi and HPP Teles Pires were the first group’s plants certified under ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS-18001:2007, in 2017. HPP Corumbá received its certification in 2018, and HPP Baguari and HPP Dardanelos in 2019. Our goal is to start the implementation in HPP Baixo Iguaçu in 2020, and therefore have all our plants certified under the three Standards.

In 2019, those five listed hydro plants were certified under ISO 45001:2018 – that replaced OHSAS.
