New Wind Support Vessel Named ‘WINDEA JULES VERNE’

Bernhard Schulte’s Offshore wind newbuild, yno 315 at Ulstein Verft, will be named ‘WINDEA JULES VERNE’.

The vessel has received her name after one of the world’s most popular adventure writers, who was born in Nantes where GE’s Offshore Wind business is located. The vessel will work for GE at the Merkur wind farm.

The Service Operation Vessel ‘WINDEA JULES VERNE‘ has been designed and built by Ulstein for Bernhard Schulte Offshore. She will be used by the GE operations team very soon at the Merkur Offshore wind farm.
