During the past few days of the shipbuilding project of the CLV Nexans Aurora, the outer part of the carousel has been mounted. Currently Ulstein is installing the fairings.

The Cable Laying Vessel Nexans Aurora has large dimensions, and people appear small next to the large bits and pieces which are being mounted and installed all over the vessel. The newbuild is under construction at Ulstein Verft, and there are people working all around the vessel to make her ready for sea trials later on.

This week Ulstein worked to complete the outer part of the carousel, and the first set of fairings has been installed. In the days ahead we will continue to install the next three sets.

The ‘Nexans Aurora’ is due for delivery to Nexans this year, and her first assignment will be in the offshore wind segment.
