DEW-G2200-135 doubly-fed wind turbine independently developed by Dongfang Electric was successfully connected to the grid in the test wind field.

With a single unit capacity of 2.2MW and rotor diameter of 135m, DEW-G2200-135 doubly-fed wind turbine can achieve an annual equivalent power generation of more than 2000 hours at the average wind speed of 4.8m/s.

This is a product developed by Dongfang Electric for decentralized wind power in ultra-low wind speed areas. Meanwhile, this unit is especially suitable for high wind shear areas due to its 120m flexible tower.
